Hey there JokeRs! Once again we have one of our tantalizing JokeRs Girls for you, happy to bring you one of the originals... Britne Storms(Maekiou)!

The JokeRs Playhouse Blog: How does it feel to be the Jokers Girl/Court Jester of the Week?

Britne: It definitely feels like a honor. I wasn't expecting it at all!

TJPB: What made you decide to become a JokeRs Girl?

Britne: The people that make and are behind the Jokers Playhouse actually.  I've know a handful of them from working at other clubs and one day I was supposed to be Vipers host and he messaged me telling me he was opening this club. The grand opening was that weekend. Asked me if I wanted to join and I said "sure!" Been a Jokers Girl ever since ;]

TJPB: What do you like most about the JokeRs Playhouse?

Britne: I like that you can be yourself for the most part. there is so much diversity that walks through the JokeRs Playhouse doors and they all seemed to be welcomed. Whether if your a furry, a neko or from a different country. I've seen ponies and even a bat lol. Even myself who like to rp having children in SL. everyone gets the same welcoming environment.

TJPB: Please tell us about the first time you came to The JokeRs Playhouse, your first experience:

Britne:  The first time? Oh gosh I can remember it was a lot of people there for support! and I was nervous (laughs) but honestly every set I'm a little bit nervous cause you never know what will happen/going to happen there. 

TJPB: Ok, random question...  If you could bring someone famous back from the grave, who would you choose? Why?

Britne:  Do I sound like a terrible person if I said i can't think of anyone to bring back? Although, I would think to bring back anyone who tried to make a change for the world  - for the better. People who were a great inspiration on a lot of us to make nation wide changes. (Or inventions)

Britne, as said earlier is an original JokeRs Girl she's been with us from the very beginning and we adore her for her funny ways, wit, loyalty and sweetness. When Britne's not doing her thing at JokeRs shes busy being a Mom and OB/GYN at Mama Allpa check her profile for info! JokeRs Girl of the week Is Poison Luminos

 

New Year, New Jokers Girls for you all to delight your eyes with! This time around we are featuring as our first Jokers Girl for 2014 our fabulous Poison Luminos, we asked the questions and here are her answers:

The JokeRs Playhouse Blog: How does it feel to be the Jokers Girl/Court Jester of the Week?


Poison: o.0 Very cool! lol


TJPB: What made you decide to become a Jokers girl?

Poison: People I knew told me about the club and I kind of ended up falling in love with the place and the people here and wanted to work here. So you guys been stuck with my ass since.


JPB: What do you like most about the Jokers Playhouse?


Poison: The people. We have great DJs, great Jokers Girls and Jesters, and most of all we have kick ass VIPs that I have a blast talking to.


TJPB: Please tell us about the first time you came to The Jokers Playhouse, your first experience:


Poison: It's been months, but I remember loving peoples sense of humor. People were a bit twisted and sometimes odd. I felt like I was home. lol


TJPB: Ok, random question... What is one of your childhood embarrassing moments...elaborate?


Poison: Hmm... most embarrassing childhood moment? Um... wow. I embarrassed myself a lot. Lol. Hard to pick one. Ok.. I grew up in Ohio. Our Winters can be a bit rough. I had the bright idea after a snowstorm that had an ice storm right after to use a plastic serving tray as a sled. I did not think through that we had an inch of ice on top of the snow and the trays are REALLY slick on snow anyway. So my dumb ass slides down my steep front yard and shoots across the street barely missing cars and ends up going up the woman across the streets hill and into her front door. How I did not give her a heart attack I do not know. She was rather pissed and I was a bit more than embarrassed. But it was fun as hell :) Poison is sassy, sweet and whimsical - she always has something amazing to say. If any of you have her as a friend on facebook you'll know she's an avid Dr. Who fan and has a ridiculously hilarious sense of humor, she's been with us from pretty much the beginning and is an impeccable worker, loads of fun and of course very pretty to look at :D

Feature Vendor Of the week -Illicit Mode-

This week we are happy to bring to you another one of our amazing stores in the JokeRs Mall -Illicit Mode- owned by Illicitmode Resident, we asked the questions and here are the answers!

TJPB: Your store -Illicit Mode- is featured for this week and we want to know a few things about you! Please tell us how long have you been in SL?

Illicit Mode: 8 years

TJPB: What inspired you to create in SL?

Illicit Mode:  boredom got tired of Djing

TJPB: What was they very first thing you ever created and do you still have it?

Illicit Mode:  a neko tail with attachments on them I have them on my other account =D

TJPB: How would you describe your style?

Illicit Mode:  I'm all over the place hun, quite literally one day I'll be making a car and the next I'll be pulling cybergoth out of my inventory, imma shape shifter of sorts really and I make things I would wear.

TJPB: What do you find to be the hardest thing about creating in SL?

Illicit Mode: Inspiration... finding an original Idea that no one has done yet.

TJPB: Any comments to "The Haters" :D?

Illicit Mode: Oh I have many lol I don't acknowledge them though ... I don't need to rile them up for them to make me famous they do it well enough on their own.

TJPB: Well said!!

Illicit Mode: is a fantastic store in the JokeRs Mall as well as the Jersey Shore offering the coolest T-Shirts for men and women that you just cannot pass up, great for layering and wearing on their own among other items you have to make sure you head out there and grab some for yourself, you'll be glad you did!

Also some big news Mode Step  slink shoes are on the Horizon.

Illicit Mode: Will be  doing prefabs and templates and Mode Step will be the new store for actual finished product. 

Nathan stuff is amazing he has such great detail to his work and cares about the items he puts out. You won't be disappointed in getting something from him so be sure to check out his stuff and the new items to come.

Joker Girl Of The Week Vixen

This week we introduce our next JokeRs Girl of the week, the very spicy Vixen and we got to pick her brain a bit and here's what she had to say;

Vixen: I'm honored To Be Jokers Girl Of The Week <3 I've been working at Jokers for a long time, and it's finally a pleasure to have been chosen as a Jokers Girl, I've laughed, I've cried, it's been a blast, I have had the opportunity to meet some great people at this club, It's been a real adventure for me, but the thing I love the most is how this club feels like a second home and I encourage everyone to give this club a chance and check it out for what it is: a fun, chilled place, with great tunes and great people. <3


TJPB: What made you decide to become a Jokers girl?

Vixen: I've known Viper for a really long time and know everyone that works there, all friends so I thought why not work somewhere that you know everyone and are friends with and have a great time while you work..


TJPB: What do you like most about the Jokers Playhouse?


Vixen: Everyone's down to earth and chill the staff and VIPs all love to have a good time.. got the hottest DJs and most sexy Jokers Girls and Court Jesters on the grid...


TJPB: Please tell us about the first time you came to The Jokers Playhouse, your first experience:


Vixen: Great Music, Great People and Everyone Is Crazyyyy Woooooo Show Them Your Boob's ^.^ Jk Put Them Away lol


TJPB: Ok, random question of the day... What’s one personal thing you’d rather pay someone to do than do yourself and why?



Vixen: Mmmhhhhmmmm I'd pay someone to wash the dishes for me and fold my clothes.. get to working ^,^ Maybe even pay someone to put a smile on their face most people are just Blahhhhh :) <3 Huggies! Love, Vixen Vixen is one of our great Jokers Girls always has a funny thing to say and is very silly at times which makes for a great and inviting experience when you're hanging out. She keeps herself busy between working, shopping, exploring and a fabulous blog check it out!

The Jokers Playhouse Radio is now OFFICIAL!!!!!

    It is official: The Jokers Playhouse NOW has their own radio station. This has been weeks in the making and we can now confirm that is has indeed been launched. Phase one is now officially underway and you may now stream our 24 hour radio in your land.

   The Jokers Playhouse RADIO is the place to go to hear some EXCLUSIVE mixes brought to you by some of the best DJs on the grid. New content is being produced as we speak that will go into the radio station. When we spoke with club owner Viper about this new radio station he had this to say...

   "This is a very exciting time for us here at The Jokers Playhouse. A lot of hard work and effort has gone into everything we have. This radio station is a small step in what we are hoping to accomplish here. Like with the blog we have created; it is our goal to give our VIPs constant and accessible access to exclusive content in which no club is doing. There are places out there claiming to care about their VIPs yet we are here proving it each and everyday. I assure everyone...this is only the first step with this radio station.
